Dawn Christine Jonckowski
Chicago native Dawn Christine Jonckowski grew up as a hardcore band geek who just happened to sing. A surprise casting as a lead in her high school’s musical (as the villain, no less!) prompted Dawn to later take voice lessons in college. She was the lead vocalist with a Chicago area swing band for over a decade and has served as worship leader at several churches. Dawn currently plays horn with the Triangle Wind Ensemble, and is a former member of Knightwind Ensemble, College of Lake County Wind Ensemble, and the Illinois Brass Band.
